Took a break from all my accounting work & sketched Aya(god she looks contorted lol). I really want to practice drawing more but end up doing other things. Do you guys sketch or draw often?
Tommorow I may do a review(if time allows me to) for the Reimu figutto just to show an example of what I'll be talking about.
Have a good rest of the day/night everyone!

Yes I draw every day :)
KEEP AT IT! At first it feels stressful but you just keep drawing and eventually you attain enlightenment or something.
@A Hermit: Definitely, it releives me of my stress & helps me focus on something else haha.
You draw a lot better than me.
Best I can do is a little duck or flower on the edge of my notes.
Just like everything else you'll get better with practice.
I like sketching, it's faster for me since I fail at coloring
Oh yeah, I draw all the time. Mostly black and white sketches, as I have no patience to spend 5+ hours on detailed coloring.
Whatever I draw tends to become a crime against nature. One of these days I'll teach myself to draw. One of these days..
Nice sketch :) . I'm looking to pick up on getting better at drawing, myself.
It's been a year or more since i did something serious. I used to draw a lot before, maybe I should start again.
I also love to draw. A few tips:
-Your proportions seem good in general, but the nose seems a bit low on her face. You should be able to fit the face into proportional thirds: from the chin to the bottom of the nose is one, then from the bottom of the nose to the eyebrows is the next, then from the eyebrows to the hairline. I don't know if it's the camera distortion, but Aya looks like the space from the bottom of her nose to her chin is only proportional to the space from the bottom of her nose to her eyes.
Have you read any drawing books? Vilppu is very good.
Awesome drawing. I'm no drawer (i'm a musician) but that to me is really good! Keep at it, do it everyday. Never give up. By the way love the song on the profile!
@frog guy: thanks for all the advice man! I'll incorporate into future practices!
@cheazy: thanks! I'm trying to stick with it haha.
